In October this year, Global Voice interviewed researcher and professor Marisa Ramos Gonçalves, from the Centre for Social Studies (CES-UC) and member of the AIA-SEAS Board, about her research project on South-South solidarity and Mozambique’s support for the independence movement in Timor-Leste — countries that are 10,000 km apart.
Throughout the interview, Marisa talks about the various links between the two countries, including solidarity movements and the decolonisation processes of both countries. She also briefly reflects on the relationship between these two countries.
